NUNSPEET - Fire and aid station 112 Elspeet has received two new vehicles. One is a tanker truck and the other is a command vehicle.

The tanker has a 5,000 liter water tank and a 500 liter foam tank. "We now have more water on board, which can be useful in places that are difficult to access with a hose," says fire chief Gerrit Vedders.
The command vehicle is equipped with advanced communications equipment to maintain contact with the fire station and other emergency services during incidents. "We can also deploy this vehicle for reconnaissance, for example, to get a good view of a building on fire or to search for a fugitive."
The two new vehicles cost around 1 million euros. The municipality of Nunspeet paid for two thirds of the costs and the Ministry of Justice and Security for the other third.
