Air Products Announces Two New Independent Director Candidates as Part of Ongoing Board Refreshment

Lehigh Valley, PA - January 17, 2023

Air Products (NYSE:APD) today announced that its Board of Directors has nominated two new independent director candidates, Cheryl B. LaFleur and Michael A. McQuade, for election at the Company's 2023 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

Cheryl B. LaFleur

Ms. LaFleur has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, including leadership roles at several major oil and gas companies.

She currently serves as a director of EOG Resources, Inc. and an advisor to EnCap Investments, L.P., a leading provider of venture capital to the independent oil and gas industry.

Michael A. McQuade

Mr. McQuade has over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, including leadership roles at several Fortune 500 companies.

He currently serves as a director of Ingevity Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of specialty chemicals, and AZZ Inc., a leading provider of metal coatings, welding consumables, and engineered products.
