The Angola national football team has qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Sudan 2-0 in their final group match on Thursday.
Angola finished top of Group E with nine points, while Sudan finished bottom with just one point.
The Africa Cup of Nations is Africa's most prestigious international football competition. It is held every two years and is contested by the top national teams on the continent.
Angola will be making their eighth appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations. Their best result was fourth place in 2008.
Sudan, meanwhile, will be missing out on the Africa Cup of Nations for the third time in a row. Their last appearance was in 2012.
The draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will be held on April 19, 2023. The tournament will be held in Ivory Coast from June 23 to July 23, 2023.
