Bucks' Damian Lillard: Good to go vs. Houston
Lillard set to make season debut after recovering from abdominal surgery
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is set to make his season debut on Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets, the team announced Tuesday.
Lillard has been sidelined since undergoing abdominal surgery in October. He has been practicing with the team for the past few weeks and has been cleared to play.
The 32-year-old Lillard is a six-time All-Star and one of the most popular players in the NBA. He averaged 24.1 points and 7.3 assists per game last season.
The Trail Blazers are 1-3 this season without Lillard. They will be hoping that his return will help them turn things around.
The Rockets are 0-4 this season. They will be looking to avoid starting the season 0-5 for the first time since 2012.
The game will be played at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET.
