Canadiens Announce Press Conference: Two Players Absent from Practice
Montreal Canadiens to hold press conference today
Caufield and Dach among those missing from practice
The Montreal Canadiens announced today that they will hold a press conference Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET at the Bell Centre.
The press conference will be led by Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes and head coach Martin St. Louis.
Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki, alternate captain Brendan Gallagher and goalie Jake Allen will also be present.
The press conference comes after two players were absent from practice Monday morning.
Forward Cole Caufield and Kirby Dach were not on the ice at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, Que.
Caufield is dealing with a lower-body injury that he suffered in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Calgary Flames.
Dach is also dealing with a lower-body injury, but it is not believed to be as serious as Caufield's.
It is unclear if Caufield or Dach will be able to play in the Canadiens' next game, which is Wednesday against the Ottawa Senators.
The Canadiens are currently in last place in the NHL with a record of 8-29-7.
