Coronavirus Vaccinations Possible Until December 6th
Current Situation
As of October 29th, 2021, the Netherlands is experiencing a fourth wave of COVID-19 infections. The number of positive tests and hospital admissions is increasing rapidly. The government is therefore taking additional measures to combat the spread of the virus. One of these measures is to extend the period during which people can get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Vaccination Period Extended
The government has decided to extend the vaccination period until December 6th, 2021. This means that everyone who is eligible for a vaccination can still get one until that date. After December 6th, it will no longer be possible to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Who Is Eligible for a Vaccination?
- Everyone aged 12 and older
- People who live in a nursing home or care facility
- People with a chronic condition
- Healthcare workers
- Essential workers
