Declan Donnelly has finally broken his social media silence after his best friend Ant McPartlin married his long-term girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett.

The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! presenter took to Twitter and Instagram on Monday morning to share a rare photograph of himself with his wife, Ali Astall.

In the sweet snap, the happy couple can be seen smiling as they pose in front of a stunning sunset.

Dec simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji.

Fans and famous friends were quick to comment on the photo, with many wishing Dec and Ali well.

"Lovely photo. You both look so happy," one fan wrote.

Another added: "Great to see you back on social media. Hope you had a great weekend."

Dec's post comes after he was noticeably absent from Ant's wedding last weekend.

The pair, who have been friends for over 30 years, have always been close and Dec has been Ant's best man at both of his previous weddings - to Lisa Armstrong in 2006 and to Dec's manager Ali Astall in 2015.

However, Dec was not present at Ant's wedding to Anne-Marie on Saturday, leading to speculation that there was a rift between the two friends.

However, sources close to Dec have since said that he was not able to attend the wedding due to work commitments.

Dec is currently filming the new series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in Wales.

The new series of I'm A Celeb is due to start on Sunday, November 15th.
