Final family Christmas at Spry Tree Farm to support Northumberland Hills Hospital
Port Hope family hosts one final festive event at their Christmas tree farm to raise funds for local hospital
Spry Tree Farm’s long-standing festive event will this year support the Northumberland Hills Hospital’s redevelopment project
A family in Port Hope, Ontario, is hosting one final festive event at their Christmas tree farm to raise funds for their local hospital.
For the past 18 years, the Spry family has opened their farm up to the community during the holiday season, offering festive activities and the chance to choose and cut down a Christmas tree.
This year’s event will be the last for the family, and they have chosen to mark the occasion by supporting the redevelopment project at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
The event is family-friendly and will feature a bonfire with marshmallow roasting, hot chocolate, and music.
There will also be a variety of vendors selling local crafts and products, and a barbecue will be serving up festive food.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 10th, from 10am to 4pm.
Admission is free, but donations to the Northumberland Hills Hospital redevelopment project are welcome.
The Spry family has been a long-time supporter of the hospital, and they are hoping that this event will help raise awareness of the redevelopment project and encourage people to donate to the cause.
The redevelopment project will see the hospital expand its facilities and services, and it is expected to cost $150 million.
The Spry family is hoping that their final Christmas tree farm event will help to make a difference and support the hospital’s redevelopment project.
“We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received from our community over the years, and we wanted to give back in a meaningful way,” said Erin Spry.
“The redevelopment project at Northumberland Hills Hospital is so important, and we’re hoping that this event will help to raise awareness and encourage people to donate.
“We’re excited to host one final festive event at our Christmas tree farm, and we hope that everyone will come out and support our local hospital.”
