Jalen Brooks Catches One Pass in Loss

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Brooks had a quiet day in the team's 24-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Brooks finished the game with one reception for 14 yards. He was targeted twice by quarterback Baker Mayfield, but was unable to haul in the other pass.

The Panthers' offense struggled throughout the game, as they were held to just 258 total yards. Mayfield completed just 18 of 33 passes for 197 yards and one touchdown. Christian McCaffrey led the team in rushing with 66 yards on 14 carries, while DJ Moore led the receivers with five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown.

The Buccaneers' defense was able to get pressure on Mayfield all game long, sacking him three times and forcing him to throw two interceptions. The Panthers also turned the ball over twice on fumbles.

The loss drops the Panthers to 1-3 on the season. They will host the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday.
