Festive Fir Trees At Hexham General Hospital Will Raise Money For New Equipment

The festive fir trees will be on sale from 26th November until 19th December in the grounds of Hexham General Hospital.

The festive firs will be on sale from 26th November until 19th December in the grounds of Hexham General Hospital. The trees, which are being supplied by local business Hexham Trees, range in size from 4ft to 8ft and are priced from £30 to £60. All proceeds from the sale of the trees will be donated to the League of Friends of Hexham General Hospital, which raises money to provide equipment and facilities for the hospital.

The League of Friends is a registered charity that has been supporting the hospital for over 60 years. In recent years, the League has funded a wide range of projects, including the purchase of new equipment for the hospital's operating theatres, the refurbishment of the hospital's wards, and the creation of a new garden for patients and visitors.

The League of Friends is grateful for the support of the local community, and hopes that people will come out and buy a Christmas tree from the hospital's grounds this year. Every tree sold will help to make a difference to the lives of patients and staff at Hexham General Hospital.

In addition to selling Christmas trees, the League of Friends will also be holding a number of other fundraising events in the run-up to Christmas, including a Christmas raffle and a Christmas fair.
