Rylan Clark-Neal Defends Tulisa Contostavlos Amid 'I'm A Celebrity' Backlash
Rylan Clark-Neal has slammed critics of Tulisa Contostavlos amid claims her performance in the new series of 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' is 'staged'.
The popular TV personality, 34, took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday night to defend Tulisa, 34, following her first appearance on the hit ITV show.
He wrote: "Watching an old episode of 'Big Brother' on @itv2 then 'I'm A Celebrity' on @itv and my word...some of you really need to get a life! Tulisa is an absolute diamond and the nicest person you could ever meet. So stop trying to find problems where there aren't any!"
Rylan's comments come after some viewers took to social media to claim that Tulisa's reactions to the challenges were too exaggerated and that she was acting for the cameras.
However, Rylan is not the only one who has come to Tulisa's defense. Her former 'X Factor' co-star, Louis Walsh, also praised her on Twitter.
He tweeted: "Tulisa is a natural in the jungle! She's funny, fearless and a great role model for young people. I'm so proud of her."
Tulisa is one of 12 celebrities taking part in this year's 'I'm a Celebrity'. The show, which is now in its 22nd series, sees a group of famous faces living together in a remote Australian jungle.
This year's lineup also includes Chris Moyles, Scarlette Douglas, Sue Cleaver, and Mike Tindall.
The new series of 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' continues nightly on ITV at 9pm.
