Metro Vancouver is bracing for another storm, which could be one of the strongest so far this season.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, the Sunshine Coast and Howe Sound, with 50 to 80 millimetres of rain expected from late Tuesday night into Wednesday.
BC Hydro crews are on standby to respond to any power outages.
The storm could also bring wind gusts of up to 70 kilometres per hour, Environment Canada said.
Residents are advised to secure loose objects, such as patio furniture and garbage cans, and to be prepared for power outages.
