Air Products & Chemicals Nominates Two Industrial Execs to Replace Outgoing Board Members
Air Products & Chemicals has nominated two industry executives to its board of directors. The nominees are expected to replace two outgoing board members who are retiring.
The nominees are:
- Sarah G. Cunningham: Cunningham is the former CEO of Walmart Stores East & Canada and is expected to replace James L. Sullivan who is retiring after 14 years on the board.
- Eric D. Fast: Fast serves as the CEO of Chemours and is expected to replace Samuel G. Powell when he retires after 11 years on the board.
The nominations are subject to shareholder approval at the company's annual meeting in May. The two nominees bring a wealth of experience to the board, which will be valuable as the company continues to grow and expand.
Cunningham has over 30 years of experience in the retail industry. She served as CEO of Walmart Stores East & Canada from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, she held various leadership positions at Walmart, including SVP of operations for Walmart U.S. and EVP of Walmart International. Cunningham currently serves on the board of directors for Target and is a member of the Business Roundtable.
Fast has over 30 years of experience in the chemical industry. He has served as CEO of Chemours since 2015. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at DuPont, including president of DuPont Performance Materials and SVP of DuPont Safety & Sustainability. Fast currently serves on the board of directors for Dow and is a member of the American Chemistry Council.
The addition of Cunningham and Fast to the board will bring a diversity of experience and perspectives to the company. Their expertise in the retail and chemical industries will be valuable as the company continues to grow and expand.
