Lars, 30 years old and from Enschede, participated in the first edition of the program 'The Floor' on Monday evening, presented by John de Mol. In this program, candidates try to answer as many general knowledge questions as possible, without making any mistakes. Lars managed to answer 12 questions in a row correctly, setting a record.

When Lars gave his 13th correct answer, presenter John de Mol ran onto the stage in surprise. "I've never seen this before," said De Mol. "This is really exceptional." Because Lars had already broken the record with 12 correct answers, he was allowed to stop. He left with 125,000 euros.

Extreme tension: ‘My heart was pounding’

Afterwards, Lars said that the tension was extremely high during the game. "My heart was pounding in my chest," he says. "I'm really glad I was able to set a record. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience." It is not yet known when 'The Floor' will be broadcast on television.
