Piece of Metal Falls from Cowboys' Stadium Roof; No One Hurt
Officials: No One Injured After Piece of Metal Falls from AT&T Stadium Roof
A piece of metal fell from the roof of AT&T Stadium on Sunday, but no one was injured, officials said.
The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. during a Dallas Cowboys game against the New York Giants. A large piece of metal fell from the roof near the 50-yard line. No fans were sitting in the area where the metal fell, and no one was injured.
Stadium officials said the piece of metal was part of a decorative panel on the roof. They said the panel had been damaged by the wind and had fallen off.
The game was delayed for about 15 minutes while crews cleaned up the debris. The Cowboys went on to win the game 28-20.
