Tulisa Contostavlos Quits 'X Factor' After Just One Series as Judge
The former N-Dubz singer has decided to step down from her role on the ITV talent show after just one series
Tulisa was brought in to replace Kelly Rowland on the judging panel for the 11th series of 'The X Factor' in 2012
She mentored Little Mix to victory in her only series on the show, but has now decided to quit to focus on her music career.
A source told The Sun: "Tulisa loved her time on 'The X Factor' but she feels the time is right to move on and focus on her music."
“She had a great time and helped Little Mix win, but music is her first love and that's where she wants to be."
Tulisa's departure means that 'The X Factor' will be looking for two new judges for the 12th series, with Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger also expected to leave the show.
Rylan Clark, who co-hosted 'The Xtra Factor' with Caroline Flack, is the favorite to replace Dermot O'Leary as the main host of the show.
ITV has yet to comment on Tulisa's departure, but it is expected to make an announcement in the coming days.
